What is WEEE?

(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

Any Device that Operates on Electricity (from a Socket or with Batteries), any Bulb, Neon, Battery, or Old Accumulator.

You almost Certainly Have Such Items in your Household or Workplace: from Batteries and Bulbs to Electronic Devices and Communication Technologies of all Kinds.

If You Use a Printer, Empty Toner Cartridges Must be Recycled. We also Collect this Waste.

Why Do We Need to Properly Collect Electrical and Electronic Waste?

the Law Prohibits Us from Disposing of this Waste with Household Garbage or in Nature Because it Becomes a Dangerous Source of Pollution Due to the Toxic Components it Contains, Affecting our Health.

Whenever an Electrical or Electronic Device Breaks, a Bulb Burns out, or a Battery is Used up, our Reflex should be to Hand Them over for Recycling through Authorized Collection Operators!

Romania is among the Last European Countries in Collecting Electrical Waste. This Means We Will Start Paying Penalties from the State Budget, which Means from each of our Pockets!

Let’s Change this Situation for the Better!

What Happens to WEEE after Collection?

They are Inventoried, Sorted by Categories, and Safely Transported to Treatment and Recycling Operators.

The Treatment Process Includes: Dismantling, Extracting Harmful Substances from some WEEE Components through Specific Technologies; Resulting in Components (Cables, Motors, Printed Circuit Boards) and Materials (Glass, Plastic, Metal, etc.) Subjected to further Treatments, Recycling, Neutralization, and Non-Polluting Disposal.

After Neutralizing Hazardous Substances for Non-Polluting Disposal, Meticulously Organized Technological Processes Result in Secondary Raw Materials for Reintroduction into the Economic Circuit (E.G., Production of Goods).
